IECO has been providing leading-edge magnet power supplies since 1994 when its first switched-mode magnet power supply was introduced. Since then, IECO has provided over 600 magnet power supplies in resistive, and superconductive magnet systems. These also include cryogen-free HTS (high temperature superconductive) magnet power supplies.

IECO's modular design enables both unipolar or bipolar power supplies. IECO's bipolar magnet power supplies are based on its amplifier technology. They ideally suited for e.g. pulsed magnet applications. Their currents range from 200 A to more than 2000 A, with voltages up to 1100 V.

IECO's unipolar magnet power supplies (MPSU) are high stability units, providing 0,1 ppm stability. This contributes to a very stable magnetic field which is extremely important e.g. in MRI scanning. Due to their switched-mode design, units also operate at higher efficiency than traditional solutions.

Due to modular structure of IECO's system, different configurations in terms of voltage or current can be offered based on customer's request. Power supplies can be either for multi-axis systems or for single channel requirements.
